Position Focus: Yale Library seeks a Director of Access and Public Services to provide strategic leadership for planning, policy development, operational effectiveness, and user-focused services within the Sterling Memorial, Bass, and Marx Libraries and across the Yale Library Access Services community. Reporting to the Associate University Librarian for Scholarly Resources, this position is responsible for leading policy development and shaping the strategic direction for public services, circulation, reserves, and resource sharing across Yale Library. The position has space ownership and programmatic leadership responsibilities at Bass and Marx Libraries, and extending to high-use public spaces in Sterling Memorial Library. The position oversees Frontline Services and Resource Sharing and Reserves units, comprising 24 full time employees and a large team of student employees.

Teen/Reference Librarian - Windsor Public Library

The Town of Windsor, CT is seeking a full-time Teen/Reference Librarian to work at our Main Library.

The starting salary is $60,000-$62,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications. This 40 hour/week position includes one evening per week and Saturday rotation. Part Time Library Specialist, Children Services - Middlebury Public Library

This position is responsible for assisting in the areas of school age services, community engagement, and facilities management specifically, in the areas of readers advisory; children, young adult collections and children programming. The Beardsley & Memorial Library in Winsted, CT is seeking an enthusiastic, friendly, and detail-oriented part-time library assistant who will assist on the circulation desk in addition to page. Duties include shelving books, alphabetizing, organizing library materials, assisting patrons with online catalog, and finding materials, assisting on the circulation desk, and helping with other projects as necessary at the discretion of the director.

Necessary skills and experience include customer service, strong communication skills, and the ability to lift, bend, and reach. An associate degree and/or library experience is preferred. Experience with Evergreen is a plus, as is fluency in Spanish.

This position is for 15 hours per week at a pay rate of $15.69 per hour.

Part-Time Development Coordinator - Darien Library

Darien Library seeks a mission-focused, self-motivated, and highly organized professional to serve as our part-time Development Coordinator. This individual will have experience in setting and executing an annual fundraising and development plan, identifying and developing prospective private and corporate donors, creating and managing fundraising events, and maintaining and generating reports from the donor database. The Development Coordinator will work closely with the Library Director, the Board of Trustees, and the administrative staff in all aspects of annual fundraising for Darien Library.

Hours: The Development Coordinator will generally work 20-29 hours per week, with additional hours required during special events and other high-priority times as approved by the Library Director.
